eBook and eAudio Library login problem

THIS FORM is for you to report any problems logging in to our eBook, Audiobook, Magazine or Newspaper services.

For other problems, that are not related to log in, e.g. technical issues, please follow the advice below.

Factors affecting login

Overdue books, outstanding charges and expired accounts, may impact on your access to our Digital Services.

If you have problems with your account, we will strive to quickly resolve the problem.

  • If you have overdue books these can be renewed online or by telephone (0300 123 6704).
  • If you encounter any problems with this process, please contact us via Ask A Librarian.
  • If your account is blocked due to outstanding charges, please contact us via Ask A Librarian.
  • If your account has expired, please complete our Keep in Touch form and we will update it immediately.

Technical Issues

BorrowBox Technical Issues - If you are having technical issues with the BorrowBox App or an eBook or Audiobook you are reading in it (e.g. freezing or jumping of pages etc.) , you should report this direct to BorrowBox from within the App.

To do this:

  • Click on the menu in the top right corner and choose 'Settings'.
  • Now press and hold 'Version Info' for a few seconds.
  • When the next screen opens, click 'Send Report' and choose your email.
  • Add a comment or description of your problem and click to send to BorrowBox.

The technical information automatically included with the report will tell them the status of the app.

OverDrive – Libby Technical Issues - If you are having technical issues with the Libby App or Audiobooks and magazines you are reading in your browser:

Library Pass – Comics Plus Technical Issues - If you are having technical issues with the Library Pass App or comics you are reading in your browser, you can send Library Pass a Support request (there is also a link to this at the very bottom of the Library Pass webpages) or via app, go to the main menu and choose 'Help & Feedback'.
